Registration
------------
Up to version 1.3b, MFR was a freely distributable product, you didn't
have to pay anything for it. However, MFR has always consumed and will
continue to consume a large amount of my time. Since I receive so many
good ideas and suggestions, this amount is growing instead of shrinking.
I simply can't afford working on MFR just for fun anymore. That's the
main reason for me to distribute MFR as Shareware from Version 2.0 on.
Furthermore - since this is my first Shareware product - I am simply
curious how the Amiga users respond to Shareware. The result will
surely affect further development of MFR as well as some other products
I am currently thinking of. Thank you for your understanding.
The unregistered release of MFR will display a shareware reminder at
startup and is not able to load and save configuration data. If you
register, you will be shipped a disk with the newest version of MFR,
along with a personalized, so-called 'keyfile' that disables the
shareware reminders and enables loading and saving of the configuration.
Additionally, registered users will receive a special program version
for 68020/030/040 processors.
No person(s) or businesses other than the author are authorized to
accept any registration or distribution fees in any form whatsoever,
except as specified by the author. The only people who will be regarded
as registered users are those who have sent
DM 20.- or US $ 15.-
or more to
Stefan Stuntz
Eduard-Spranger-Straße 7
D-W-8000 München 45
Germany/Europe
For residents in Germany, the easiest and cheapest way of transferring
money to the author is by a bank transfer to
Stadtsparkasse München, BLZ 701 500 00, Konto 35-169929
In this case, you can write your registration info on the giro-form.
The cheapest and easiest (and quite safe) way for foreign residents is
probably to send DM 20.- or US $ 15.- in a letter together with the
registration form. Note that I won't accept foreign currencies except
US Dollar. If you don't want to do this, you can also use a postal
money order (PMO), about which your local post office can provide you
with details about. Beware that this can be quite expensive depending
on where you live.
Should the above not work out satisfyingly, you can either send a
EuroCheque payable to Stefan Stuntz in DM or have your bank transfer the
registration fee to one of the above accounts. Beware: International
transfers via banks are very expensive. Bank drafts can *NOT* be
accepted as payment since the bank charges outrageous fees from both
the sender and the receiver. The same applies to private cheques.
In any case, be sure to provide me with your name, address, phone number
and fido-nodenumber/InterNet address for filing purposes. You can send
this information via electronic mail, if you wish. If you don't mind,
this data will be stored and processed in electronic form. There is a
sample registration form you can fill in in the file "OrderForm".
Please allow one to eight weeks for delivery. Usually you will be sent
your registered version right away, but if a new version is near
completion, I will wait until it has been finished unless you explicitly
tell me to send a version right away.
